I bought these headphones to replace the original Zune headphones that came with the player because they only lasted a year. The left side deteriorated completely!
I recieved the V2 headphones in mid July and it is now October and they have deteriorated even worse than the originals! The Left/Right balance is unequal and the overall volume coming from them is terrible. My Zune player volume has to be turned up to 20 just to barely hear the music. It usually only has to be up to 8. I've taken a lot of care with these headphones, never twisting or rolling them up. They must be within warranty, as its within 3 months. I consider €50 a lot of money to spend on headphones and would expect at least 2 years use out of them. I tested my friends ipod headphones on my Zune and they were way louder. And they're over a year old!
The sound from these headphones is quite good when brand new, but whats the point in making them so weak over time? They have no long term staying power. I've had other headphones last 2 years before. I don't recommend these flawed headphones.
